Coaches Corner

The Fox Motors Hockey Association is a development first club dedicated to helping youth players achieve their goals in hockey and teaching life’s lessons through youth sports.

FOX MOTORS HOCKEY CLUB Coaching

Our hockey program is supported by trained rostered coaches. Our coaches have yearly training to be eligible to coach a team. All our coaches have come from hockey background, it truly shows in their passion to teach and inspire the teams. We have amazing and talented coaches starting from Learn to Skate through U18!

Each team is designed for players to learn the skills necessary and find their age appropriate level in a fun, safe, and competitive environment.

The objectives of the program are:

Skill development -help players develop skills like skating, shooting, passing and puck handling with physical abilities while teaching mental skills to focus on teamwork and communication as well.

Character development -help players learn how to work as a team, have accountability, respect the team and its coaches, and show commitment to a team.

Inspiring all ages -FMHC wants to inspire and welcome families into the Fox Family. We have training for youth as young as 3 years old in our Learn to Skate program all the way to Adults! We are also a 3 tier facility at Southside Ice Arena which means there are teams at every level to join!
